Liberty Bell Plate Made by Gillinder for the Philadelphia Exhibition of 1876 (Centennial). This is the smallest of the Liberty Bell plates, measuring 6 ¼" w without handles and 6 ¾" w with handles. All scallops, tab handles, base and body of plate in excellent condition. (#5298)

Ruth the Gleaner Statuette The Ruth statuette was made by Gillinder for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition, 1876. She is shown as a gleaner, resting on one knee with wisps of grain in each hand. 4 ½" h x 2 ½" base. An inscription on the base reads "Gillinder & Sons Centennial Exhibition." A 1/8" base chip appears on the underside of the base with a small bit being obvious from the front view. (#5824)

Liberty Bell Covered Butter Gillinder made the Liberty Bell pattern for the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial. There is a 2 ½" section of chatter marks between the lip of the bottom rim and the flange, caused when removed from the mold. Three hair width light scratch marks appear on the butter base – each ¼" long. Perfect lid. 7 ¼" w x 5" h. (#5669)

Atterbury Dewdrop and Star Lamp Made by Atterbury c. 1876 for the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. 8 3/8" to top of collar x 4 1/8" base diameter. The dewdrop and star appears at the top of the font, followed by a paneled body. Prominent patent date of Aug. 29, 1876 at base of lamp. A hand or finger lamp was also made in this pattern. Excellent condition. (5784)

This is a representation of the story of the Creation, which includes a mention of the Flaming Sword, preventing man from returning into the Garden of Eden. Flame like impressions are in the base. Liberty Bell Bank Candy Container This has a 4" diameter and is 4 3/8" high. There is scrollwork and stippling on the inside top. It says 1776 and "Liberty". The back of hangar is marked "Pat Applied For". This is a nice light amber in color. This has a perfect slot in the top. The bottom has a small chip - the bottom closure is missing. Probably made for the Philadelphia Centennial - circa 1896. (#Z116)

Columbian Expo Demitasse Spoons This is a pair of demitasse spoons, both are gold washed and both are marked US Sterling on the back. These were made as commemorative memorabilia for the Columbian Exposition of 1892 - 1893. The handles of both spoons are the same - they have Columbus with a sword in one hand and a flag in the other. Has a Columbus banner underneath this - and going down the spoon handle there is a sailing ship, a date of 1492, and then a flower and leaf design descending to the bowl. The bowls are as follows: one says "World's Fair City", the other says "Fisheries Building". They are in moderately good condition - no dents, some wear to the gold wash. (#378)
