T1625
Nekrassoff Pewter Salt Dip and Spoon Wonderful and well designed describes this open salt done in pewter, by Nekrassoff. The openwork and flower handle on the piece give it great character. The sides and bottom are hand hammered. The salt dish measures 2 1/4" to the handle end, and is 5/8" high. The accompanying salt spoon has a curved end, typical of Nekrassoff's work, although not marked. There is discoloration to the spoon and inside of the salt, probably due to actual salt being used. The spoon measures 1 3/4" long. Made around 1930, perhaps a bit earlier, these are nice examples from his workshops. This is one of a pair of these we have for sale. (#T-1625)

T1764
Nekrassoff Copper and Enamel - 2 small dishes Each of these small shallow rectangular "dishes" measures 3 3/8" x 1 7/8". They are green enamel over copper - the enamel has wonderful shading in white and a darker brown. The lip is just over 1/4" high. One dish is in outstanding condition. The other has wear to the enamel in one interior corner, and 1/4" long shallow chip in the green enamel (near the edge) - which is not terribly noticeable. Both pieces are marked on the bottom. Probably circa 1930. (#T1764)

T1519
Nekrassoff Pewter Large Leaf Dish / Tray Outstanding style to this large freeform pewter decorative dish or tray, made by the firm of Serge Nekrassoff. Probably dating around 1930 - this measures 17 1/4" (at its longest) by 7" wide. Serge Nekrassoff was a master metal craftsman and made many fabulous pieces in his workshops.

Made of low gloss pewter, this shows signs of wear, particularly in the center of the heavily veined interior, but is generally in nice condition. A classic piece of his that works well with Arts & Crafts Movement pieces. (#T-1519)

Click for more detail...
T1607
Nekrassoff Punch Bowl, Underplate and Ladle These are fairly massive pieces of pewter made by Sergei Nekrassoff. The punch bowl is fabulous and measures just shy of 13" in diameter, and is 5" high. Hand hammered on all sides, this has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. The ladle is outstanding all on its own - measuring over 14" long, this has the matching design work on the handle. The underplate is also hand hammered and has his classic 4 ball with leaf design on the 4 openwork handles. This measures 16" in diameter, and the height is just over 2". Circa 1930.

The punch bowl has been used, and shows some interior discoloration and some minor scratches. The ladle has several very light rings (not pitting) wear liquid remained. The underplate has been used, and shows some interior discoloration and some minor scratches. There is one strong crimp in the pewter flowing out of one of the open work designs. Pewter is one of the softer metals, and this bowl shows some wear through being slightly out of round. Although obviously used, these pieces are still in very nice condition. Their size along makes them a true collecting prize! (#T-1607)
