Dog with Collar Childs Mug Made by Iowa City Glass Company, circa 1881. There are two versions of this mug – one with dogs with collars, the other has dogs without collars. Great detail of the dog fur. 3 3/8" high x 3" diam. – excellent condition. (#5388)

Eagle Drum and St. Louis Mugs (2) Both of these mugs were made by the Westmoreland Specialty Glass Co. in the early 1900’s. The Eagle Drum is 2 3/8"d x 2 ¼" h. Gold flashing is on the eagle, the rims and the cords. Top rim says "Souvenir" and I cannot make out the bottom rim letters. The St. Louis mug is one of the smallest you will find – 1 3/8" d x 2" h. Both are in excellent condition. (153E-D127)

Monkey and Vines Mug Dithridge & Co. made this mug c. 1879. The technique for the design is crystalography and the design surrounds the mug. On one side the monkey is pointing at a turtle with a question mark, on the other side the turtle is biting the monkey’s finger, accompanied by an exclamation point. 2 ½’ H x 2 ½" d. Deer and Pine Tree Mug McKee made this mug c. 1886. The color is a very light amber. 2 3/8" d x 2 3/8" h. There is a 1/32" line of overfill extending around most of the top rim, and about a ½" section of that has been sheared off., causing the piece to look slightly out of round in that section when viewed from above. Liberty Bell Opaque White Mug This miniature mug measures 2" h x 1 ¾" d. The pattern was designed and patented by James Gill in 1875 and is attributed to Gillinder & Sons. Each side features a liberty bell separated by a ribbon displaying 1776-1876. Hard to find in opaque white. (#5774)

Rose in Snow Mug This blue children's glass mug is one of the larger sizes, measuring 3 3/8" high by 3 1/4" in diameter. Made by Bryce Brothers, circa 1880's, one side of this has the words "In Fond Remembrance" - which was for President Garfield (memorial). The condition is excellent. (#3035)

Pointing Dog Mug Made by Bryce Bros.in the 1880’s and after 1891 by US Glass. 2 5/8" h x 2 ½" w. The mug depicts a dog with a turned head, a bird on a branch, and a dog pointing at the bird. Trees act as a separation between the figures. Excellent detail – you can see the hair on the dog. (#5266)

Columbus and Washington Mug This political/historical glass mug features a bust of Columbus on one side and a bust of Washington on the other. These were made c.1893-94. Some of these mugs were marked for the Columbian Exposition, however this one is not marked. It measures 2 7/16" d x 2 5/8" h. Excellent condition. (#5440)
