StovePaper

Lot of Stove Memorabilia ca 1914 This group includes a trade card for Glenwood Stoves and Ranges, a letter on Detroit Stove Works letterhead and two purchase orders from Beckwith for Round Oak Stoves.

The Victorian trade card was put out by Weir Stove Company, as an advertisement for their Glenwood Stoves. Measures 6 7/8" x 4 7/8" - on heavy card stock. Nice lithography on the front. The back is amusing because the ad was printed skewed. The Glenwood stoves for this ad were being sold by S.A. Peck, in Ludlow, Vermont. Card has seen wear - folds, bends, bottom left corner tear - just a fun item for those who collect stoves or stove tiles.
The two purchase orders have a label that says they're from the estate of P. D. Beckwith - one is dated 1914, the other 1915. They measure 8 3/8" x 7" - both in good condition.
The letter from the Detroit Stove Works is dated March 15, 1913 - top advertises Jewel Stoves. - the letter is trying to get a hardware company in Indiana to carry their stoves at their store. Measures 8 1/2" x 11" - in good condition. (#StovePaper)
