G129

Truncated Cone Salt Shakers with Ring Handle Stand The shaker and stand are American, maker unknown, c. 1880’s. The ring handle stand is a very good fit for these shakers, which are probably not original to the stand. Both stand and shakers in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. The tops are period but not identical – one is a tin star top, the other a pewter moon and star top. (G129)

Click for more detail...

6043

Heart with Thumbprint Salt Shakers (pair) Made by Tarentum Glass Co, c. 1898 – 2 ½" high without top, just shy of 3" with top. The shakers are considered scarce in this pattern. Am unsure if the plated tin tops are original to the set, but the fit is excellent. One shaker top is dented. One shaker is perfect. One shaker has a 1/16" bruise to the right of one of the large thumbprints and a 1/8" long shallow thin line chip to the right of a second thumbprint – shows a small bit of haziness. (6043)
