Advertising piece for Robinson Ransbottom. This ashtray measures a little more than 5 ½" in diameter. High glaze medium brown glaze with a figure of a potter at a wheel, throwing a pot. Over him are the words Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co, and below, Roseville Ohio. The figures and words are molded in relief. Overall nice condition. Two factory misses - a small glaze miss above his arm, and a glaze pop below his elbow. Minimal wear to the high points on the crown. Two very tiny ( <1/16") edge glaze flakes, on the outside edge.
