Designed by J. Moyr Smith and produced by Mintons China Works ca 1880, this antique Minton tile is titled "Six Swans", and is one of 12 in the Fairy Tale series. Transfer printed design with colors of brown on buff, measuring 6" square. A de-installed tile; the back has mortar residue, and unfortunately there is quite a bit of edge chipping.This is a hard to find English Victorian series, and would look fabulous in a frame. (#1157)
