This rare hexagonal medallion was made by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio, for the Knights Templar. The medallion measures 2 ¼" from top to bottom and has raised relief designs. There is minimal wear to the medallion. The silk ribbon is navy blue and off white, and has the printed marks of the makers Torsch & Lee (Baltimore, MD). There is minor wear to the ribbon. The entire piece is just over 4 ½" long, and probably dates from the early 1900s.
