Fabulous green eosin glaze on this large Zsolnay tile. Measuring 9 1/8" square, this has a total thickness of 1 3/4". The tile was made to be inset, probably into a stove or fireplace. See photo for the unusual back construction. Raised molded design with a central flower motif. Pyrogranite material. The age of this is unknown, and could possibly be new. The side is marked with a raised "K2", "Zsolnay" and their five tower mark. This also has three words written in pencil. In outstanding condition. (#T-1269)
