The background design is amazingly ornate on these ca 1890 tiles by Minton Hollins & Company. Central sunflower design, surrounded by tons of ivy type leaves. Each measures 4 1/8” square. Majolica glaze is that greenish/gold color. One of the 4 tiles has a minute edge flake - all others are excellent. (#1657)
