A great brocade tile made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, this is from circa 1920. This is a pomegranate. Done in semi matte dark green glaze over red clay (which looks brown on top). Measures 4 1/4" top to bottom and 4" across at the widest part. Two small kiln pulls on the side edge, and a defective pomegranate seed right at the top - generally nice condition.
