This Washington paperweight has turned side and a beveled edge. It was sold at the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial and manufactured by the Gillinder Glass Company, one of the premier glass makers of the 19th Century. The paperweight is a bit more than 3" in diameter and 1 1/8" in depth. This has a frosted medallion Houdon bust in the center - and the piece has frosted sides as well. This is in very good condition. (#4105)
