This stove tile measures 8 1/4" high by 7 1/2" wide by 1/2" thick. This flower resembling a daisy or sunflower. Executed is a dark blue majolica glaze, with hints of turquoise, the design is molded in nice medium relief. Made in Germany, circa 1890. This has been de-installed, and the sides and back were cut well. There is come very light glaze scuffing barely noticeable, there are several very small glaze nicks on the ridge work background and side edge (again, hard to see). Generally in very nice condition. See the other two German stove tiles I have that compliment this one! Great Aesthetic Movement look on this nice larger panel! (#T- 1364)
Key Words: tiles Victorian parlor stove insert, antique
