This awesome stove tile measures 7 3/8" wide by 8 1/4" high by about 3/8" thick. The design shows a dragonfly hovering over water lilies in a pond. The design could work with either Aesthetic Movement or Arts & Crafts Movement. Molded in medium and low relief, this has a beige to gold color majolica glaze. The glaze is heavier in some areas and gives this piece nice depth. Made in Germany, circa 1890. This de-installed tile has small chips to the upper and lower left corners. Generally in very nice condition. See the other two German stove tiles I have that compliment this one! (#T-1366)
