A great out of print reference book, mostly covering English tiles, tile makers, and designers. Hard back, 160pp, Pitman House Ltd., 1980. In depth discussions and photos of many factories, such as Wedgwood, and the "Minton’s"; one chapter on photographic tiles, and a 20 page appendix on identifying tiles (with many backmarks!). Also very useful is an appendix that lists, by company, the "popular picture tile series" and each of their components. This is an oustanding reference work in excellent condition.
