Published in New York, by George Routledge & Sons - this is titled "The Waverley Novels" by Sir Walter Scott, Bart. This undated book contains Guy Mannering and Redgauntlet. It also contains a "Fragment of a Romance which was to have been entitled, "Thomas The Rhymer" and "The Lord of Emmerdale"." This hardback book is 410 pages, and has many illustrations (black and white). There are tears to the bindings and wear to the covers - although the boards still have a nice impressed design and gilt. The previous owner's name is on the inside page. An interesting and nice looking book for those tile collectors who love the Mintons English Waverley Novels series tiles!
