This is one of the harder to find early American political and historical glass pieces. This is a flint Bumper to the Flag tumbler. One side has that written, and the other side says "Union Forever". Between these sayings, on each side is a Liberty Pole with a traditional Liberty cap. The flag has 35 stars. There is one tiny nick, or area that you can catch your fingernail in, at the very bottom of one of the Liberty poles. This circa 1863 tumbler measures 3 1/4"high by 2 5/8" in diameter. (#5373)
