This is a wonderful book combining history, research and illustrations of Pittsburgh area glass from the 18th – 19th Centuries. There are many, many black and white photographs as well as catalog pages. The text is rich with facts, history, and explanations of glass making. It is highly readable. There are numerous examples and photos of early lacy and blown glass as well as Early American Pattern Glass. 522 pgs. 8 ˝" x 11" hardback with original dust jacket. The dust jacket shows very slight wear, and the previous owner’s name has been crossed out in ink. Generally in very nice condition.
