Attractive hand thrown pottery dirt dish, also called a pie plate - nice crimped edges with a burnt orange color glaze - I've seen this referred to as a red eye gravy glaze. Measures 9 1/4" in diameter and just a bit over 2" high. There are several small and fairly shallow edges chips (see photos) - all are in the darker red glaze making them not very noticeable. Probably made by JB Cole Pottery. A nice piece of pottery to use and enjoy! (#T-1803)
