Manufacturer: as described This glass bank with tin lid measures 3 ¾" h x 3 ¾" wide at the base. The bottom reads " Design Patent Pending". Around the bank are the famous words " Lev. XXV-XX Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all the inhabits thereof". The second line reads "By order of the assembly of the Province of Penna. for the Statehouse in Philadelphia, " and between the bands it reads " Pass and Stow Philad A MDCCL111." There is a ¼" long chip on the opening. Circa late 1800’s – 1930’s (#4695)
