The Swan pattern is attributed to the Canton Glass Co., c. 1882. This compote is very wide – 10 ½" in diameter. It stands just shy of 7 ½" tall. Three oval medallions with floating swans are interspersed with "mesh-like" panels separated by a smaller clear panel with 5 vertical diamonds. There is a ¼" x ¼" chip on the inside edge of one of the scallops causing 1/8" of the top of that scallop to be gone. (#3772)
