This celluloid and velvet covered photo album depicts the Battleship Maine and Captain Sigsbee. A Spanish American war commemorative, c. 1901-1905. The binding is broken and the clasp latch is missing. There are 15 heavy cardboard photo pages, the edges enhanced with gold leaf or gold paint. The celluloid is free of cracks. 10 ¼" h x 8 ½" l x a ¾" deep. The 20 + photos inside are period photos of family and special occasion events of that era. None of the photos are Span-Am war related.
