Part of the Early English History series, designed by J Moyr Smith, ca 1870, produced by Mintons China Works. This is " St. Augustine " - transfer printed black on beige, 6" square. Tight hairline in left top quadrant - going about 1/2 way in to tile - begins with a V surface line. (#1334)
