Great hot air balloon design hand painted onto this lovely piece. Not sure if this is a paperweight or a door knob - I did not fully remove the felt from the back. Nice creamy porcelain. Measures 2 1/2" in diam by about 1 1/4" high. In excellent condition - circa 1890 - 1900.
