This interesting tile has the motto for the California Federation of Women's Clubs. Done in a mint green high glaze, the design is impressed. This 6" square tile says " Strength United is Stronger". Although unmarked, I think this tile may have been made by the California Art Tile Company of Richmond, Ca, in the 1930's or so. There are 3 chips to the backside edges - none of which show on the top. (#1713)
