Dithridge & Co. made this mug c. 1879. The technique for the design is crystalography and the design surrounds the mug. On one side the monkey is pointing at a turtle with a question mark, on the other side the turtle is biting the monkey’s finger, accompanied by an exclamation point. 2 ½’ H x 2 ½" d.
