Great hand made tile – made in the cuenca (raised line) technique. Measures 6" square x ½" thick. Depicts a bee flying near its hive and a star with rays shining right. This may be a religious symbol or from a particular fraternal organization. Semi matte glazes with metallic gold. Unknown maker and age – looks like it is American and probably around ca. 1920.
