This self framed tile has soothing pastel glaze colors - and depicts a bird, possibly a wren, sitting on a branch. Oak leaves on the sides. colors of green, brown, beige, Both of these are nice, but have some damage. Made by the American Encaustic Tiling Company, Zanesville, Oh, circa 1940. Measures 4 1/8" square. (#1299)
