Manufacturer: Claycraft
This nicely molded tile by Claycraft Potteries of Los Angeles, California, measures 3 ¾" x 1 ¾" x 5/8" thick. The design is a cartouch with a banner. Hard to capture the subtle colors, the background is a coarse buff clay, and the glazes are pale blues and greens. In generally very good condition and done by one of the best California Arts & Crafts Movement tile companies, from the mid 1920’s. (#1020)
