Manufacturer: Copeland
This antique blue and white transferware luncheon plate dates between 1894 - 1910, and was made by WT Copeland & Sons. It measures 9 1/4" in diameter, and has a scalloped edge with a white gadrooned rim. The series is "Incidents from the Legend of Robin Hood" , and the scene is "Little John Decoys Sheriff". A series of tiles was also done in this pattern (without the border). One miniscule glaze nip on the backside of the rim - generally in outstanding condition. (#T-1470)
