Nice mottled glazes of bluish gold on this set of 4 tiles made by the American Encaustic Tiling Company, of Zanesville, Ohio. Circa 1930 - these each measure 4 3/8" square by just under 1/2" thick; semi matte glaze. Part of the company's "faience" line of tiles - design to look hand made. All are in very nice condition.
