Manufacturer: Malibu Potteries
Made by the Malibu Potteries, of Malibu, California (1926 - 1932), these types of tiles were called "pillow" or "pillowed". Primarily used for pools and fountains, each tile measures about 3 7/8" square and the top of the tile is rounded. Three of the tiles have a brown background with fur like greenish blue and light brown pulled out glazing. One of these tiles has a top corner glaze chip The 4th tile is done in a more tightly mottled glaze. This tile has surface wear. Nice examples for your garden or as very cool paperweights.
