Manufacturer: William Manker Pottery - Christmas Candle Holder This unusual design for a candleholder was made by William Manker Pottery - Padua Hills, California. This piece was made in the late 1930's - early 1940's. It as a rich dark green glaze over most of the piece- with the inside of the center part done in a yellowish green glaze. Ink stamp on the bottom. According to Jack Chipman, and his book "Collector's Encyclopedia of California Pottery" - this was a Christmas design (for a candle holder). Outside bottom diameter is 7 1/8" - diam of the top of the inside piece is 3 3/4". In excellent condition. (#T-2073)
