Manufacturer: Pilkington
This attractive hand painted tile was done on a Pilkington tile blank, measuring 8 5/8" x 4 1/4". Then it was set in a metal holder with curly cues. The colors in this mountain / lake scene tile are gorgeous - reminiscent of the "purple mountain majesty" phrase, although it's not known exactly where this locale is. Signed D. Williams - probably from the 1930's - 1940's. In excellent condition. (#T-1392)
