Maker unknown, c. 1890. This large shield shaped tray is 11 ½" l x 9 ½" w. The center depicts Columbia surrounded by 13 vertical bars with a star studded top. It was made in several colors. There is a 7/16" sliver along the left edge, a series of small tiny nicks along the top left angled edge and a ¼" chip on the underside next to Columbia’s nose.
