Manufacturer: American Encaustic
This pottery dish was made as part of a bridge set. This represented the Hearts suit. Marked AE on the front, for the American Encaustic Tiling Company in Zanesville, Ohio. Probably made in the 20's - this has an attractive blue glaze. Just minor wear - there are no chips. Measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 5/8" high. Fairly rare to find these. (#T1421)
