The stein depicts 4 putti in the throes of a drinking fest. One is on the beer barrel, which has a date of 1880. The other 3 are celebrating in their own way. A very rough translation of the words which surround the base is: " the good old Germans and they drank one before they left". 5 1/8" h x 2 5/8" w. Small chip (1/8") on base. (5945)
