Made by Gillinder, c. 1879. This remarkable platter features a buffalo or bison, deer, a log cabin, mountains and a field with wood stumps. Deer handles. 13" long including handles x 8 7/8" wide ; There is a 3/16" long chip next to the top of the ear on the left hand handle and a small chip on the corner of the same handle. Outer clear band has a few minor scratches and one 3/8" long oval dulled area. (5989)
