Bowl is 6 1/4 inches across including the rim. It is about 1 1/4 inches deep. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Glass is clear and sparkly. Only wear noted is on the very base where it sets on a surface.

Hocking Miss America Pink Depression Glass Square Footed Sherbet Beautiful in pink! Miss America remains one of the most sought-after depression glass patterns simply because it is pretty. Hocking's pink glass is a soft, lovely shade of light candy pink, with no yellowish tinge. Miss America has a deco style with its round shapes, square foot and diamond design.

This is the footed sherbet in pink depression glass. Sherbet is 3 5/8 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches across at the lip. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear. There is a raised strawmark on the foot and the seams are raised enough to feel which is normal for depression glass.

Miss America Pink Depression Glass Footed Sugar Hocking Art Deco Here is the footed sugar in one of the most popular and sought after pink depression glass patterns, Miss America from Hocking. Miss America was inspired by art deco with its combination of circles and angles and has a square foot with gently rounded rim and body. Hocking made Miss America from 1935 to 1938 in pink and clear with a few pieces in other colors. In the depression people had very little money so glass like this that came free as premiums with groceries or at the movie theatre, were important ways for families to stretch their budget. Today we look for small indulgences, such as collecting our depression glass.

Creamer is 4 inches tall at the top of the spout. It is in excellent condition with just a couple points to note. The seams on the handles are also raised and there is a bubble in the side. There is a minute nick on the base of the smooth wide band at the top. This band has a square corner and is always prone to tiny nicks. Other than these points, there are no cracks and glass has good clarity.
