New Martinsville Fancy Squares #35 Red Amber Sugar Bowl
This is the most beautiful shade of amber! It is a rich, dark golden color with reddish tones where the color gathers. Footed sugar bowl is from New Martinsville in the Fancy Squares pattern, line Number 35. Sugar is 3 1/2 inches tall and is 2 7/8 inches across at the lip. Sugar is in very good condition, free of chips or cracks. There is wear, primarily small rather light scratches in one spot on the side.

New Martinsville Janice Crystal 11in Ruffled Rim Bowl
New Martinsville made Janice from 1926 to 1944 and Viking continued it. Janice remains popular because it is simple yet graceful. It's evening as I write this it my bowl is on the dining table where it is just glowing in the overhead light. This is the unusual 11 inch ruffled edge round fruit bowl. This is surely one of the less common pieces and one you'll want to add to your collection.
Bowl is between 11 and 11 1/2 inches in diameter from the tip of one ruffle to the tip of the opposite side. The bowl rim appears to have been ruffled by hand as it is not perfectly symmetrical. The bowl is 3 1/2 inches high. Base rim is ground. This is a beautiful piece of glass with excellent clarity. There is one very shallow round nick on the side of the ground base rim that is 1/16 inch across; there are no other nicks or cracks. Wear is moderately light. This is a heavy piece and large enough to require a big box; please be sure to check shipping calculator.

Prelude Etched Crystal Teardrop 3-Toed Centerpiece Bowl
Here's an unusual combination for your New Martinsville Prelude collection. This is the Teardrop blank, made beginning in 1938, with our favorite Prelude etch. Bowl has three small feet and is 11 5/8 inches across at the lip. This is just a gorgeous piece of New Martinsville glass! Bowl is about 3 1/2 inches tall at the rim. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks, completely clear crystal, and virtually no wear.

New Martinsville Teardrop Cut Center Handled Sandwich
Center handled sandwich trays to me are the signature pieces in elegant glass. This one is from New Martinsville, part of their Line 4400 or Teardrop pattern. Crystal tray is cut with three floral sprays, each centered on a 16 petal open center flower. this cutting is referred to as NEM1 in Replacements. The handle is 5-lobed and fits nicely in your hand. Crystal center handled sandwich tray is 11 1/2 inches across and about 4 1/4 inches tall to the top of the finial. Tray is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Wear is very light, almost nill. The center handle is faceted and there are small grooves where it melds into the base.

Hughes Cornflower Cut New Martinsville Radiance Creamer
Here is the creamer in New Martinsville' crystal Radiance elegant glass pattern with the well-loved Cornflower cutting by W. J. Hughes. The creamer has the usual wing-like solid handle and the Radiance teardrop design. Cornflower by Hughes is an intricate floral gray cutting of a 12-petal flower with a cut cross-hatch center and leaves on two of the panels and a leaf spray on the other two panels. This is very pretty and not too much decoration for the design. Creamer is 3 1/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches across at the mouth opening. It is about 4 3/4 inches long from handle tip to spout. Creamer is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with little wear.
