Seneca Glass Etch 283 Tiffin Sand Blast 602 4 5/8 inch 2 Oz Wine Stem Here is a pretty stem that is tentatively identified as Seneca Glass etch 283. This stem is 4 5/8 inches tall and holds two ounces filled to the brim.
Stem is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are some small bits of glass where the bowl was attached to the stem.
Here are the reasons why the pattern identification is not definite. The pattern drawings for Tiara show a dotted line above the solid bar which this stem does not have. Seneca engraving #283 is similar, except it has 2 faint lines above the bar; the bar is on top the trellis and there are 5 dots instead of 4. So I'm left thinking this is Tiffin, but perhaps altered to fit the small bowl.  

Tiffin Glass Adam Basket in Circle Etched Crysta 11oz Handled Tumbler Looking for Tiffin Adam etched vintage stemware? Here is that perfect small indulgence for someone who enjoys fine etched crystal, the handled water tumbler with the gorgeous basket in a circle etch. Adam is so distinctive with its basket of flowers suspended by swags inisde an oval and surrounded by more swags and scrolls. And it is simply special on this depression era shape, the handled water glass. This is great for lemonade or ice tea because the glass is easier to hold that cool drink, even in hot weather.

Tiffin Glass made Adam from 1913 to 1934 and used a very pretty stemware blank to complement the design. There is a subtle wide vertical panel optic that adds shimmer.

Tiffin Adam etched tumbler is 5 1/8 inches tall and holds just under 12 ounces filled to the brim, or about 10 ounces if you prefer not to spill. Best of all, this is in great condition with no chips or cracks. Glass is nice and clear with virtually no wear.

Tiffin Classic Draped Lady Dancer Scarf Bird Etch Pink 6 inch Plate This is a hard to find piece of elegant glass from Tiffin! The etched pattern is Classic, which features a center medallion of a dancer with a flying bird surrounded by swags and scrolls. The barefoot dancer is saved from being fully nude by draped scarves. This is a lovely etch that is scarce in crystal and even more difficult to find in pink. You are bidding on one plate, 6 1/4 inches in diameter, that is the size used today for bread and butter or a small side dish. My reference books refer to this size as a sherbet liner or champagne liner.

Base has a ground rim and it's neat to see how the etch continues right though the ground circle to reach the center of the plate. Plate is excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, good clarity and only minimal minor wear on the plate surface. There are several scuff areas on the rim, ranging from 1/32 inch to 1/8 inch long.

You'll really want to jump on this one!  

Tiffin Glass Classic Pink Dancer Art Nude Etched Footed Pitcher Gorgeous and oh so hard to find! This is the footed pitcher in Tiffin Glass elegant pink glass with the Classic etch. Classic features a lady dancer in an oval medallion with swags and scrolls. The nearly nude dancer swirls around draped with a scarf and birds flutter overhead. This is a truly beautiful etching and one that looks even better on Tiffin's pink glass with a narrow vertical optic.

Pitcher is 9 1/4 inches tall and 7 1/4 inches across from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout. It is in exceptionally good condition, with no chips or cracks and minimal wear. I went over this very carefully to find any flaws and have two to report. One is a spot on the lip of the spout that appears to have been etched. You can just feel this as it is not perfectly smooth but when you examine it carefully you can tell that it is not scratches or scuffing or nicks. Many of the plates we have in this pattern have this. The other point to note is a small round slightly raised spot on the inside about 1 inch below the rim.

 

Tiffin Shining Star Cut Bubble Stem 17637 Wine Goblet Here is a beautiful wine goblet from TIffin cut on their choice bubble stem blank 17637. The cut is Shining Star which has an angled leaf spray flanked by two eight-pointed stars. This is the wine goblet which is just under 5 3/4 inches tall.

Goblet holds 5 ounces filled to the brim and is 2 3/4 inches across at the lip. Wine is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks or wear. It doesn't look to have been used.

This was identified as blank #17637 by looking up Shining Star on Replacements.com and in the reference book Tiffin is Forever by Page and Fredericksen. The shape looked lke blank #17640 but Shining Star was not shown to be cut on that blank.  

Tiffin Glass Cut Leaf Branch Spray 17464 Pearl Collar Cocktail Stem Here is a very pretty cut cocktail stem from Tiffin Glass in their classic pearl collar stem with ribbed vertical section and a ring of beads around the top, number 17464. (There is a second stem that has the pearl collar but a different bowl shape.) This small goblet is cut with arching branches and leaf sprays and is exquisite. Get this to add a note of distinction to your after dinner drinks with friends!

2 Tiffin Glass Cut Leaf Flower 17561 Bead Belt Crystal Cocktail Stems Here is a set of two (2) very pretty cut cocktail stems from Tiffin Glass with a design of horizontal bands by the top crossed with short miters and flower and leaf sprays. The stem is ribbed on the top half and has pressed facets on the lower section with a band of separating the two sections like a belt and a second band of beads right below the bowl. Very unique and different. You'll want to get this set to add a note of distinction to your after dinner drinks with friends! This was identified as stem blank number 17561 by comparing to the line drawing in Page and Frederickson's Tiffin is Forever reference. We have other listed separately.

Tiffin Glass June Beau Bow Leaf Pearl Collar Stem 17403 Cocktail Tiffin made exquisite stemware and this is one of their nicer stem shapes. The cutting is June Beau, featuring a design of a wide swagged ribbon tied in a bow surrounded by leaf sprays. The ribbon swag is distinctive! The stem blank has a beaded wafer at the base of the stem, repeating near the top that looks like a pearl collar. The blank is number 17403, which as a gracefully curved bowl.

You are bidding on one liquour cocktail, which is 5 3/8 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches across at the lip and holds 4 ounces. Cocktail is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with excellent crystal glass clarity. The only point to be aware of is a string of tiny bubbles on the foot.  

Tiffin 17301 Williamsburg Cut 4 1/4in Liquour Cocktail Here is a choice stem to add to your collection. This is Tiffin's blank 17301, which features hexagonal wafers on the stem, with the elegant Williamsburg cut. Williamsburg has vertical miter cuts with two rows of horizontal miters. The horizontal cuts are about 1/3 up from the base of the verital miter; they are not exactly in the middle.

Stem was identified as the liquour cocktail by comparing to other cut patterns on the 17301 blank. If you are trying to match pieces please check the dimensions. Cocktail is 4 1/4 inches tall and 3 inches across at the lip. It is in perfect condition, free of chips, cracks or signs of use.  

Tiffin Surrey Cut Blank 17395 5 1/2in Cut Foot Goblet Here is an interesting goblet in Tiffin's Surrey cutting. Surrey has vertical miter cuts with two lines of horizontal miters. The horizontal miters are positioned midway on the vertical cuts. The foot has miter cuts on the underside. This is tentatively identiified as the water goblet but please check the dimensions if you are trying to match pieces. Goblet is 5 1/2 inches tall and Replacements gives the water goblet height as 6 inches.

Goblet is 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches across at the lip. It holds about 7 ouncess filled to the brim. Goblet is in very good condition, with one shallow 1/8 inch nick in the top of the foot, and no cracks.
