Duncan Miller Sandwich 11 1/2inch Epergne Bowl Base
Here's a difficult find for your Duncan Miller Sandwich collection! This is the bowl for the 11 1/2 inch epergne that has a hole for one horn. You are purchasing the epergne base alone. This is #106/107 and is also called the epergne garden/flower stand. The epergne base is 11 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep at the outer rim. The socket for the epergne horn is 1 1/2 inches across on the outer diameter and 1 1/8 inches across on the inside.
Bowl is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and it has no wear. The bottom is ground. The only point to note is a small bubble on the side of the epergne horn socket.

Duncan Miller Sandwich Crystal 5 1/2in Relish w/ Handle
handle in Duncan Miller's Early American Sandwich crystal. This piece would be great to serve candy and nuts together, or to hold condiments this holiday. Relish dish is 5 1/2 inches across excluding the handle. It is 1 7/8 inches tall. Relish dish is in very good condition. Only point to note is a very tiny shallow nick on the inside of one of the scallops. The base is not ground.

Duncan Miller Sandwich Crystal 4 inch Finger Bowl
You know how messy barbequed ribs are to eat with your fingers? Here's the elegant solution: Fill these little bowls with water (preferably scented) and put along side your dinner plate. Then you can dip your fingers in the water before wiping on your napkin! That is what finger bowls were used for originally. Nowadays we are more likely to use these for a small salad or side dish. They are an excellent size for many uses, 4 1/8 inch wide x 2 1/2 inch deep. Bowl is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Bowl has a ground underside rim. Glass is clear, wonderful crystal. If you collect Duncan sanwich, you'll want to bid on this. Finger bowls don't come up on auction all that often.

Duncan Sandwich Crystal 8 1/2 inch Candy Jar & Lid
Duncan Miller Sandwich candy jar is the 8 1/2 inch tall version complete with lid. This is a very attractive piece. The base is 5 1/8 inches tall and mouth opening of 5 1/8 inches. The lid is 5 inches in diameter and about 3 3/4 inches tall. My reference book Elegant Glass by D & R Coe refers to this as the #102, footed wafer stem candy with a book value of $100. Candy jar is in excellent condition. The only defect found is a 1/16 inch shallow rough spot on the underside of the smooth band that is at the top of the base. This looks like a manufacturing flaw, not a chip, but you should know about it. The lid and base both have virtually no wear. The lid came with the base, but it is a slightly loose fit. Glass has a slight yellowish tinge. Item photographed is this specific jar.
