Vase has beautiful styling so true to the 1930s, with its horizontal ribs and bold semi-circle beads forming the foot. Vase is 8 inches tall and 5 inches across at the lip. Manhattan Clear Depression Glass 24 oz Small Tilt Ball Jug Pitcher
ome of the neatest pieces in depression glass are the tilted ball jug pitchers. This one is the smaller clear glass Manhattan pitcher made by Hocking Glass between 1938 and 1943. Manhattan has horizontal rounded ribs and is a neat pattern with an art deco appeal. There are two sizes of tilt pitchers and this is the smaller, about 5 1/2 inches tall and it holds about 24 ounces when filled.
Pitcher is in good condition with no chips and good clarity so it sparkles. There is a small spider-web like shallow crack on the side which is about 1/2 inch long and it does not go all the way through. It is shown in the close up.
