Green Depression 3 1/2 Vaseline Green Candleholder Lovely candle holder glows under a black light with the rich true vaseline green. It is a medium light green in regular light. Holder is 3 1/2 inches wide at the base and is in mint condition with no cracks, chips or signs of wear. As is common with depression glass you can feel the seams.  

Cambridge #1 Opal Crucifix 9 5/8 inch Candleholder White Glass Very old candleholder has been identified as Cambridge #1 based on size and shape of the base and candle cup. Candleholder is just over 9 1/2" tall and the hexagonal base is just over 3 3/4 inches across. The candle cup is hexagonal inside an octagonal fluted exterior. The arms of the cross are 2 5/8 inches across.

We referenced the appendix in volume 3 of Felt & Stoer's The Glass Candlestick Book to identify this as Cambridge. The candleholder is not marked. Volume 1, under Cambridge, describes this as having a vine on the back of the cross, noting this is sometimes very faint or missing on the opal glass versions. There is no vine on this one nor is the INRI plaque above Christ's head.

Candleholder is white glass, called opal in this older ware and is heavy. It is in extremely good condition, with no chips or cracks. The interior base seam is rough due to blobs of extra glass as is the seam around the very base outside.

Assuming our identification is correct, this was made sometime after 1908. This is an older piece of glass that you will be proud to own and display.

Cambridge Glass Elegant Triple Candleholder Scroll 1307 Here is a classy elegant crystal candleholder from Cambridge Glass, dating to about the 1930s and holding three tapers. Diamond Glass Adams Rib Line 900 Amber Candleholder Pair 2 inches Tall Here is are two candleholders in amber glass from Diamond Glassware Company, the Adams Rib pattern, line number 900. Gene Florence's Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass 18th edition includes this sharp pattern but doesn't list these short candleholders; we identified them because we bought them with a matching console bowl which is listed separately.

Candleholders have the ribbing on the short vertical stem and around the base. You are bidding on a pair of candleholders, both about 2 1/8 inches across the base and 2 inches tall. Both candleholders have small chips, one is shallow on the top rim and about 3/16 inches long and the other is shallow and on the underside base.

Fostoria Glass Navarre Etched Baroque 4 inch Single Light Candleholder Fostoria Glass' made their Navarre etched crystal for a very long time, from 1936 to 1982, and that's because it was one of their most popular introductions. It is a beautiful pattern with vines of small star-like flowers and leaves around a central medallion that looks like a bouquet surrounded by wreaths. Fostoria used their Baroque blank which complimented the etched design very well.

This choice piece is the 4 inch single light Baroque crystal candleholder in a cornucopia shape. The Navarre etch is on the round base. Fostoria used this elegant shape for many etches and we offer a selection in our store.

This piece looks like an etched flower with the six softly rounded lobes and the center candlecup. Pair Westmoreland #1016 Cut 7 inch 2-Handled Candleholders This pair of candleholders will look spectacular this holiday season as the soft candlight glows on the two 6-sided faceted handles and sparkles on the floral and leaf cutting. This is the line 1016 from Westmoreland. The 7 inch tall decorated candleholders are fairly uncommon and here they are. If you collect candleholders, or you want a gift for someone special (maybe you?) look no further.

You are bidding on a pair of candleholders, each one holding a single taper. The base has 6 sides and so do the center column and the two handles that curve from top to base. The top of the candle cup is polished smooth and is also 6 sided. The cutting featues a starry flower at the top with a gracefully curved leaf spray below running vertically. This is truly gorgeous and hard to find!

Candleholder is 7 1/8 inches tall and the base is 3 3/4 inches across. You are bidding on two (2) candleholders. Both candleholders are in excellent condition. They have no chips, no cracks and the only wear is on the bottom of the base. The previous owners used these and I checked to be sure the candlecups are not cracked. Once we got the wax out we could see they really are in nearly perfect condition. (The 'nearly' part comes from the bit of wear on the bottom.)

Westmoreland made these from about 1910 to about 1940 and the design was patent number 41,301, granted in 1911.  

Pair Fostoria #2324 Amber 4 inch Round Candlesticks Fostoria's amber glass is a gorgeous deep color, not yellow and not brown, just pure rich golden glass. This pair of candlesticks is line number 2324 and dates to the late 1920s. These candleholders are the same color as the Pioneer amber and would go well with that pattern.

You are buying a pair of candleholders, both the same. You can see these in Fostoria, the First 50 Years, by Hazel Weatherman on page 210.

Candleholders are 4 5/8 inches across on the base and about 3 inches tall. Both candleholders are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and almost no wear whatsoever. Glass is beautifully transparent.

Old English Amber Depression Glass Candleholder Single Here is a treat for the Old English collectors among us! This is a single candleholder or candlestick in Indiana Glass' Old English or Threading amber depression glass. Indiana produced Old English in the late 1920s and it has some very interesting design elements so characteristic of that optimistic era. The base of the candle has fine horizontal ribs, giving the ncikname 'Threading', and stem has a rounded wafer.

Candleholder is just under 4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches across at the base. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. There is light wear on the base from setting for 80 years and the seams are slightly raised as is typical for Indiana's depression glass. The candleholder had originally been decorated around the top and the rim of the base, possibly with silver. The trim is quite worn and is black now. The one thing to be aware of is not a flaw or damage, but there is a bit of trim left on the underside of the top. You can see it through the transparent glass.

Old English is not the most common depression pattern and it's downright scarce in amber. You'll want to snap this one up!  

Queen Mary Crystal Depression Glass Single Candleholder Queen Mary candlestick is super cute. This reminds me of a cactus. The listing is for a single candlestick. If you would like a pair, please purchase two of these. The candlestick is in excellent condition.

Queen Mary is one Depression pattern that is probably more attractive in crystal than in pink because the geometric ribs catch the light. Can't you imagine how this would look on your dining room table with a candle glowing softly?
