Elegant! Basket Etch Silver Encursted 13in Torte Plate
Beautiful basket etch shows flowers spilling over the sides and sprays of flowers and leaves with silver encrustation or silver oerlay. This is a very interesting piece because the blank is Double Fleur De Lis, or Pattern #607, made in 1939 by Indiana Glass! Blank has fleur de lis pattern on the top edge and near the center, and has scalloped edges. (Thanks to Gene Florence's Pattern Identification Book Volume 3 for blank identification.) The design is very like Cambridge's Portia, and may be a Duncan Miller etch. Silver encrustation is heavy and in very good condition on the basket design. The rim has a heavy band of silver overlay. There is one place on the side of the rim where a half inch piece of silver came off when this was washed.
Plate is 13 inches in diameter and is footed. Plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Indiana Double Fleur De Lis Cut 5- Sided Console Bowl
Here is a gorgeous bowl in the Double Fleur De Lis pattern. Bowl is enhanced with a floral spray cutting that features large open centered flowers with long arcing sprays of leaves. Double Fleur De Lis is named to fit its pressed motif of a fleu de lis band circling the center and a longer fleur de lis pattern on the points. Surprisingly, this was made by Indiana Glass in 1939 and truly qualifies as elegant crystal. Bowl is an impressive 10 3/4 inches across measuring from tip to tip and is 3 inches tall. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with little wear. There is a small inclusion in the base which is shown in a closeup.

Rose Wreath Crystal Satin Glass 1950 Vintage Cake Plate
Here is a very choice piece of unusual frosted crystal glass. This plate was made by Indiana Glass, listed in a 1950 catalog. Indiana gave this pattern the less-than-romantic name #100, so we've given it our name 'Rose Wreath'. (This is 100% unofficial, of course!)
Plate has elements of depression glass styling, including the 3 little nub feet and the ribbed edge trim. Plate is 11 1/2 inches across and about 1/2 inch tall. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Plate has a couple of bubbles, which add to the vintage charm. Please note the second photo shows the underside of the plate.

Indiana Glass #602 Elegant Pink 10 1/4in 2-Handle Tray
This beautiful pink elegant depression glass cake plate will make you smile every time you get it out to serve your cookies or snacks. This is pattern number 602 from Indiana Glass. It is a light candy pink without a trace of yellow or gray. This is the 10 1/4 inch 2-handled serving plate. Plate is 10 1/4 inches across without counting the handles and 12 inches with the handles. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. There is one small bubble and wear is very light. The ridges in this are a good way to differentiate this pattern from Indiana's Artura pattern number 608. In number 602 on the top surface the ridge is actually a slight indentation and on the base it is slightly bumped out. If you collect elegant pink depression glass you'll want this plate!
