Old Cafe Crystal Depression Glass 5 1/2 in Handled Bowl Old Cafe is one of Hocking's depression patterns that is a very simple design that packs a lot of appeal. Old Cafe has one wide, rounded rib between two narrower ribs. You can distinguish Old Cafe from the somewhat similar pattern Fortune by remembering Old Cafe is two words and has two ribs, and Fortune is one word and has one narrow rib between the wide ribs. (It works for me anyway!) This is the 2-handled medium bowl in crystal.

Bowl is just under 5 1/2 inches across not counting the handles. It is 6 3/4 inches across from the tip of one curlicue handle to the other. Bowl is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Wear is very light and glass is nice and clear.

Old Cafe Crystal Depression Glass Tab-Handled 7 3/4 Inch Candy Dish Here's a pretty candy dish in Hocking's rather popular Old Cafe crystal depression glass. This is the 8 inch, slightly flared shallow bowl with two small tab handles. Crystal means the color is clear.

Candy actually measures 7 3/4 inches across, not including the handles. It is in excellent condition, free of any chips or cracks.

Old Cafe Crystal Authentic Depression Glass 7 1/4 inch Vase Here is the authentic depression glass Old Cafe crystal vase. Old Cafe is a charming pattern that was made in the depression era, from 1936 to 1940. You can find vases in a very similar style that were made later, some with the Anchor Hocking symbol on them. In fact my store has one. There are also some that are more recent that are heavier and the pattern is not crisp. This vase has no symbol and is the right pattern.

Vase is 7 1/8 inches tall and 5 5/8 inches across at the outer lip. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Wear is very light and on the underside of the base.

Crystal Old Cafe Depression Glass Look Alike 7 1/4inch Flared Vase Here is the wonderful vase in Hocking's Old Cafe depression glass pattern. Old Cafe has wide rounded panels between 2 narrower panels. Vase carries the rounded panels up to make a nicely-scalloped rim.
Vase is 7 1/4 inches tall and a little over 5 1/2 inches in diameter at the mouth. Old Cafe was made until 1940 according to most books. This piece is marked with the Anchor Hocking anchor mark on the base indicating later production of this charming pattern and a look-alike piece. You can find vases made very recently that do not have the anchor symbol that have a less-clear pattern.

Vase is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, no water marks.
