Aunt Polly Blue Depression Glass Footed 2-Handled Candy Bowl
Aunt Polly is one of the older depression patterns, dating from the late 1920s. Here is the blue footed, 2-handled candy dish. Candy is a beautiful shade of true blue. Candy is about 5 1/4 inches across, not counting the handles. Candy dish is in excellent condition. As is typical for pieces from US Glass, the seams protrude and are rough with extra bits of glass. There is one tiny nick in the rim, very shallow and about 1/16 inch across.

Plate measures 7 5/8 inches from one flat side across to the other flat side. If you measure from point to point it is 8 1/8 inches across. It has a small rounded foot and is marked with the Cambridge C in a triangle. Plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear.

Cambridge Decagon Bluebell Light Blue Creamer Elegant Depression Glass
Love Cambridge Glass light blue Bluebell colored elegant depression glass? Here is the creamer in the Decagon blank in a luscious shade of light blue, very nice glass and just perfect for you or a gift to someone special. Creamer is 2 1/2 inches tall and measures 4 3/4 inches from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle. It has a small rounded foot and is marked with the Cambridge C in a triangle. Creamer is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little wear. There are several strawmarks and mold marks on the foot, the bottom and the sides that are like little wrinkles. The seams on the lower part of the sides and around the foot are raised enough to feel and the seam feels rough in one spot on the foot. I examined this carefully and there is no damage, but you should know about this. The rough feeling spot is on the foot right in front on the second photo. (It doesn't show.) Hazel Atlas Moderntone Cobalt Blue Depression Glass Flat Cream Soup
Gorgeous deep cobalt blue glass 2-handled bowl is Hazel Atlas Moderntone cream soup. Cream soup bowls have such a neat shape, wider than a coffee cup and with two handles. This would be fun to use for soup or even a salad this holiday. Hazel Atlas made Moderntone from 1934 to 1942 and it has a simple design of stepped bands with an art deco flair. This cream soup is transparent cobalt blue and has a flat rim. Cream soup is 4 5/8 inches across at the lip and 2 1/4 inches tall. If you measure across from handle tip to handle tip it is about 6 1/8 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and very little wear. Note the third photo shows small mold marks in the center; I have several of these and they all have the same thing. American Sweetheart Pink Depression Glass Oval Platter MacBeth Evans
Beautiful American Sweetheart remains one of the most popular depression glass patterns and no surprise. It has a delicate mold-etched design of swags and paisley shapes on thin glass in a soft pink. MacBeth Evans made American Sweetheart from 1930 to 1936. Like many depression patterns the serving pieces were not given away as premiums but had to be purchased and are thus less common than other pieces. This is the 13 1/4 inch oval platter. Platter is 13 1/4 inches long and 10 inches wide and about 1 1/8 inches tall. You can see that this is more flared and scooped than the platters in some patterns. Oval serving platter is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks and with very light, minimal wear. The one thing you should know before bidding is there are two straw marks on one end. One mark is a fairly straight line like someone drew a pencil tip through the top and the other is squiggly mark on the bottom. You can see these in the close up. I checked very carefully to be sure these are not damage, just the way the platter was made.
