Vase is 9 inches tall and has a lightly crimped lip. The foot is cone shaped and has rays on the underside and the body of the vase has Jeannette's beloved Iris pressed design. Best of all, vase is in excellent condition, with no chips, no cracks, no water spotting and virtually no wear. Vase has the usual straw marks and bits of extra glass that give depression glass its charm. There is a small raised blob of glass that is about 3/8 inch long that runs just below the rim that you need to know about as I wouldn't want you to think AAARRRGG! a chip! It's not a chip, just a slighly raised section. There are bits of glass on the underside of the bottom too.

Plate is 8 inches across. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Glass has good clarity. Indiana's molded patterns have a raised ridge just inside the rim and they tend to have rough spots. This particular plate has protruding bits of glass but no nicks.

Bowl is 6 1/4 inches across including the rim. It is about 1 1/4 inches deep. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Glass is clear and sparkly. Only wear noted is on the very base where it sets on a surface.

Vase is 7 1/8 inches tall and 5 5/8 inches across at the outer lip. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Wear is very light and on the underside of the base.

Bowl is 7 3/4 inches long and 3 inches tall. It is not perfectly symmetrical as one rim is flatter than on the other side. Ice cream bowl is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with only light wear.  

Relish has three hemispherical sections and is about 6 5/8 inches across and 1 7/8 inches tall. It is in very good condition with a couple of tiny rough spots on the exterior vertical ribs.  

Bowl is 10 inches long and 5 inches wide, measuring from the outer diameter. Oval celery dish is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with virtually no wear.

Ashtray doubles as a coaster, with a raised cross in the center to keep your glass from sticking to the bottom. When used as an ashtray it can hold 5 cigarettes.

Ashtray is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. Glass is clear. Ashtray measures 3 1/8 inces across, without the holders and 3 7/8 inches with them. Glass has the usual flaws, such as bubbles, tiny wrinkles or raised bits of glass, that give depression glass its charm.


 

One shaker is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. The second shaker has a chip in one of the veritcal ribs, right at the top. This is the shaker in the close up and is the shaker on the left in the photo of both shakers. The chip is visible, on the top and left side. It is hard to describe, but it is as if someone sliced the point off the top and down 1/8 inch. The tops have small dents as you can see in the close up.  

The handle also has ribbing. This larger shape perfectly complements the strong vertical pattern. Creamer is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, and no wear. There are few wavy stretch marks in the glass as is common with depression glass.
