Cameo Yellow Depression 6 Inch Sherbert Plate
Cameo, or Dancing Girl, is a favorite depression pattern from Hocking Glass. The pattern features a central motif of a dancing lady surrounded by swags. This was made from 1930 to 1934. This is the 6 inch sherbert plate. Today we would use this as a bread and butter plate or for a small salad. When you think of it, putting a plate under a dish of ice cream makes sense. Plate is 6 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

Cameo Dancing Girl Yellow Depression Glass 10 1/4 in Grill Plate
Cameo yellow grill plate is 10 1/4 inches in diameter and has 3 divided sections. The theory is that portions look bigger in these little sections. Personally I think the dividers are to keep food from getting all mixed up. We're seeing that approach come back in some items.
Plate is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This is a beautiful plate in a beautiful pattern.

Lancaster Topaz Yellow 906 Open Work 7 3/4 inch Wide Footed Compote
Beautiful lace edge compote is from Lancaster Glass, line number 906. This is the smallest size compote (or comport), about 3 1/4 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches across at the rim. Lancaster made this pattern during the early part of the depression and it is similar to Hocking's Lace Edge, but finer quality and without the rayed base. This is a light, pure yellow topaz colored glass; the photos have a blueish tinge that the glass does not have. Compote is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks; wear is very minor and glass has good clarity.

Hocking Princess Topaz Yellow 10 oz Footed Tumbler
If you collect older glass, you know how difficult it can be to find the footed tumblers. These were usually used frequently and many broke in use or packing. Here is the footed tumbler in Hocking's depression pattern Princess. This is the topaz yellow footed tumbler that holds 10 ounces. It is about 5 1/2 inches tall. These tumblers are so appealing because they have an interesting cone shape, and look to our eyes more like goblets than tumblers. Tumbler is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
