New Martinsville #36 Amber Depression CHS Center Handled Server Bowl
Here's a gorgeous serving bowl just perfect for fall gatherings, harvest or Thanksgiving dinners. This is a beautiful rich shade of deep amber that glows with warmth and will make you smile every time you see it. You'll want this vintage piece of American elegant depression glass as a link to the past. across your home. Center handled server is by New Martinsville and is their line number 36. The sides are cupped, making this perfect to hold crackers or pretzels and the distinctive pattern shape is the group of rounded nubs on the short sides. The center handle is round with little wings at the bottom, similar to an ankh. Serving bowl is 8 3/4 inches wide and about 5 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear. The only point to note is a mold mark like a small crease on the underside of the handle; this shows in the close up photo.

Beautiful Normandie amber depression glass from Federal has a lovely mold etched design and scalloped rim. Here is the 6 3/4 inch wide cereal bowl. This cereal bowl is not the easiest piece to find for your collection so you'll want to snap this up. This is a very pretty pattern with its molded-in design of a lattice and flowers. Sometimes it is called Bouquet and Lattice which fits with the intricate design of daisy and leaf sprays alternating with a lattice arbor.
