I believe this is from Cambridge Glass based on the shape of the center handle and is their number 173 shape.

Diamond Glass Adams Rib Line 900 Amber Rolled Rim Console Bowl Here is a neat piece of amber glass from Diamond Glassware Company, the rolled rim console bowl in Adams Rib, line number 900. This was made in the mid 1920s, so it is a littler earlier than depression glass, but the style was an advance on the popular colors and designs of the 1930s. You can find this in Gene Florence's Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass as the 18th edition includes this sharp pattern.

Console bowl has a small foot and the rolled rim does not go all the way to the table top. The bowl is about 10 5/8 inches across and 3 inches tall. Best of all, this rather uncommon piece is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There is light wear and the usual small bubbles and straw marks.

Federal Madrid Amber Depression Glass Jello Mold Here is a cute piece of amber depression glass from Federal Glass. This is the jello mold in Madris, one of the depression glass patterns that came in a myriad of pieces. That makes it fun to collect!

Jello mold is in excellent condition with the only point to note a minute pinhole nick in the rim that is well under 1/64 inch and very shallow. It's so darn small that I mention only to be fully accurate.

Fostoria Glass Fairfax Amber Fleur De Lis Center Handle Server CHS To me, nothing says "depression glass" better than the center handled sandwich server trays. These wonderful pieces are perfect to make a statement in your home about the grace and charm of bygone days. The one you see here is from Fostoria Glass in rich amber gold and has a fleur de lis handle and 12 sides with softly rounded corners. It's Fairfax, one of the patterns that Fostoria used for etchings, here showing off Fostoria's superb glass clarity and coloration with no design. Fostoria made a similar tray which is round so please check the photos before bidding to be sure this is the style you like.

Center handled trays are called center handled servers, center handled sandwich trays, or simply CHS, but under any name they are classic pieces of elegant glass of the depression era that you'll so enjoy using to serve cookies, small appetizers and yes, sandwiches too.

This CHS is about 11 1/2 inches across the base and 4 1/2 inches tall. It is in excellent condition, with no chips and no cracks and a little light wear. There are two 1/2 inch long light scratches near the edge and the seam on the handle is raised enough to feel. This is good since you want to enjoy the rich amber color! Fostoria Glass 2183 Laced Edge Amber Cabarete Colonial Prism Bowl Beautiful amber glass bowl with open work edge is Fostoria's number 2183 Colonial Prism amber cabarete bowl, dating from 1918 to 1927. Imagine this piece on your coffee table, shelf or sideboard. It is meant to be the centerpiece of your glass display. This bowl caught my eye at an estate sale because it is a rich glowing shade of amber gold - it just sparkles. My pictures do not do it justice.

Caberette bowl is 11 1/2 inches across and about 3 inches tall at the highest. The underside base has a pressed star pattern. The lace work rim has open sections alternating with thumbprint indented ovals.

Not only is this a choice piece of older Fostoria glass, this bowl is in great condition. There are no chips, no cracks, minimal wear, and excellent clarity. This is a piece of vintage art glass you'll cherish and love to display!

Old English Threading Amber Depression Glass Candleholder Single Here is a treat for the Old English collectors among us! This is a single candleholder or candlestick in Indiana Glass' Old English or Threading amber depression glass. Indiana produced Old English in the late 1920s and it has some very interesting design elements so characteristic of that optimistic era. The base of the candle has fine horizontal ribs, giving the ncikname 'Threading', and stem has a rounded wafer.

Candleholder is just under 4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches across at the base. It is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks. There is light wear on the base from setting for 80 years and the seams are slightly raised as is typical for Indiana's depression glass. The candleholder had originally been decorated around the top and the rim of the base, possibly with silver. The trim is quite worn and is black now. The one thing to be aware of is not a flaw or damage, but there is a bit of trim left on the underside of the top. You can see it through the transparent glass.

Old English is not the most common depression pattern and it's downright scarce in amber. You'll want to snap this one up!

Old English Amber Depression Glass 2-Handled Footed Compote Comport Old English or Threading depression glass from Indiana Glass has a neat deco appearance and looks like higher quality glass. This comport or compote is styled to please with its scroll shaped handles, round foot and narrow horizontal ribs. Comport (or compote as Indiana spelled it) is 3 7/8 inches tall and 6 3/8 inches across at the lip, not counting the handles. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This comport has the usual flaws that give depression glass its charm. There is a large bubble in the foot and the outside ribbed section has a spot that looks like someone touched it while it was still soft as the ribs are pressed out and this shows in the photo. There is a wrinkle in the lip.

Center handled server is by New Martinsville and is their line number 36. The sides are cupped, making this perfect to hold crackers or pretzels and the distinctive pattern shape is the group of rounded nubs on the short sides. The center handle is round with little wings at the bottom, similar to an ankh.

Serving bowl is 8 3/4 inches wide and about 5 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear. The only point to note is a mold mark like a small crease on the underside of the handle; this shows in the close up photo.

Federal Rosemary Amber Depression Glass 10.5 inch Dutch Rose Oval Bowl Federal Glass' Rosemary depression glass pattern has an interesting pedigree. Federal first made a pretty pattern they called Mayfair - which ran into Hocking Glass Mayfair pattern. Federal renamed the pattern to Rosemary and simplified it considerably, and made Rosemary from 1935 to 1937. Rosemary is a little like Federal's Sharon pattern with open roses, but sets each rose inside a molded curlicue border design. This is sometimes nicknamed Dutch Rose which fits.

This is the oval serving bowl which is just over 10 1/2 inches long and 2 1/8 inches tall, well sized for use. The design of this is good with the rim sloping smoothly down to the center so there are no sharp edges to catch wear or get nicked. This large serving bowl is in excellent condition, free of chips or cracks and with virtually no use wear.
